Wireworld - Silver Starlight 5 HDMI/DVi Cable
The first flat digital video cable in the world is also the new standar for all other to measure up to. The revolutionary design is only 4mm thick and 18mm wide and is fitted with die-cast zinc connectors to ensure better signal integrity and improved sheilding.
In addition to the advantages of superior flexibility and easier concealment, this design provides dramatically improved performace including the abilty to deliver 1080P signals over 15m runs without using an additional amplifier or repeater. Traditional designs introduce signal loss, crosstalk and timing errors which are eliminated by the Silver Starlights Flat Design enabling extreme demands of digital video signals.
Silver Starlight 5 is also UL-CL3 & CSA-FTA rated for full in wall installations and is available in lengths up to 25m.
Specs
The Silver Starlight has a 100% maintained 100ohm impedence all the way from plug to plug. These contacts are then clad in silver rather than nickel to half the contact loss. The signal conductors are of the finest material consisting of silver-clad copper of 6N with 99.9999% purity, which is priduced through the OCC (ohno continuous casting) process utilising Wireworlds Proprietary Grain Optimisation technique. These superior conductors contribute to the Silver Starlights amazing definition, depth & contrast.
This cable is capable of transmitting up to 1080P standard signals only up to 15m. After that it is only capable of 1080i/720P up to 25m.
