Sonority Design - Low Profile Roller Shelf Platform
Sonority are well aware that some people want to put these shelves onto existing rack systems. Most of these systems have limited height between the existing support shelves.
To help overcome this they have engineered this pair of shelves to be as low in profile as possible. (The pictured pair were specially made to fit within a customers ‘Naim Fraim’ rack). Supplied with small bearings to go between the platforms, specially lowered cones that will ‘just’ lift the component off its own feet, and equally small support cones & bearings below.
The Roller Shelf consists of a sandwhich of 2 platforms decoupled by a set of bearings in conical housings and then on the top shelf a set of raised cones with another set of bearings to lift your component off its feet further decoupling it from the platform.
Simply put the roller shelf together, put it where you want it to work, and place the component on it. Re connect the wires switch on, and listen. No running in, no warming up. Its effect will be there in an instant and will usually be far more than a similar priced upgrade in electronics or cables.
