Sonority Design - Heavy Duty Roller Shelf Platform
Made from our ‘custom’ thickness laminate – this is the platform for ‘Ultimate Isolation’. It uses the same technology, design and materials as the standard roller shelf but all elements are in increased amounts to further enhance the effect.
Each piece is 20mm thick, double the standard size, offering no chance of un-wanted vibrations getting to your equipment, and also acting as a huge ‘sink’ for any energy from within the casework to disapear into.
The Roller Shelf principle consists of a sandwhich of 2 platforms decoupled by a set of bearings in conical housings and then on the top shelf a set of raised cones with another set of bearings to lift your component off its feet further decoupling it from the platform.
As well as being more suitable for large heavy weight components the ’Heavy’ version also exhibits further enhancements to the refinement in sound which adding a roller shelf normally gives. Added weight and stabilty to soudstage are also fairly obvious from first listen!
This is the best isolation shelf we have heard!
